2026 International Forum on COVID Rehabilitation Research
The aim of the 2026 International Forum on COVID Rehabilitation Research was to bring together people with Long COVID, researchers, healthcare professionals, educators, community organisations and policy-makers to share knowledge, research and experiences about Long COVID and rehabilitation. It also aimed to create new partnerships between researchers and healthcare professionals around the world, while providing opportunities for training, mentoring and learning to improve research and care for people living with Long COVID and other long-term conditions caused by infections. The Forum was a hybrid event, with presentations on research, clinical, and caregiving practice related to COVID and Infection-Associated Chronic Condition (IACC) rehabilitation.

Programme content was delivered live and is now available on demand. The forum had the aim of advancing rehabilitation science, clinical practice, education and policy to enhance health outcomes of people affected by COVID, Long COVID, other Infection Associated Chronic Conditions (IACCs) and their caregivers.

Grand Rounds
Kelly O'Brien and Kiera McDuff as well as members of their team were welcomed by the Rehabilitation Science Research Network for COVID on Thursday April 16, 2026 for a Special Rehab Grand Rounds. They spoke about their findings related to the Measurement and Assessment paradigm for Long COVID (MAPLC) study.
